His Hands...

This is by far one of my favorite church songs. I love how it describes the things that Christ did with his hands each day and it makes me look at my life differently every time I hear it. I think of my everyday tasks that I do to get through the day and i wonder how much is done for others and how much is done for myself... I'm so grateful for Jesus and all of his sacrifice and I'm especially grateful for the attonment. I included the lyrics to the song "His Hands" by Kenneth Cope because if you listen to the words and read them at the same time it seems to hit home a little harder... I hope you enjoy it as much as I do...

His Hands

Tools of creation

Stronger than nations

Power without end

And yet through them we find our truest friend

His hands

Sermons of kindness

Healing Mans Blindness

Halting years of pain

Children waiting to be held again

His hands would serve his whole life through

Showing man what hands might do

Giving, ever giving, endlessly

Each day was filled with selflessness

And I'll not rest until I make up my hands what they could be

Til these hands become like those of Galilee

His hands

Lifting a lepper

Warming a beggar

Calling back the dead

Breaking bread, 5,000 fed

His hands

Hushing contention

Pointing to Heaven

Ever free of sin

Then bidding man to follow him

His hands would serve his whole life through

Showing man what hands might do

Giving, ever giving, endlessly

Each day was filled with selflessness

And I'll not rest until I make my hands what they could be

Til these hands become like those of Galilee

His Hands

Clasped in Agony

As he lay pleading, bleeding in the garden

While just moments away

Other hands betray him

Out of greed, shameful greed

And then his hands

Are trembling

Straining to carry the beam that they've been nailed to

As he stumbles through the streets

Heading towards the hill on which he died

He would die

They take his hands, his mighty hands, those gentle hands

And then they pierce them, they pierce them

He lets them, because of love

From birth to death was selflessness

And clearly now I see him with his hands

Calling to me

And though I'm not yet as I would be

He has shown me how I could be

I will mkae my hands like those of Galilee

I have VERY mixed emotions....

Madax turns 1 on Thursday... Which is only 2 days away.... We are so grateful to have him! He is such a blessing in our lives.. He is extremely smart and is always learning new tricks.. I'll brag more about him on his big day, but right now this is my emotional break down.. I can't believe he is already 1... Although I fell like I've known him forever and he's always some what been with me, I am so sad that time has gone so fast... He crawled early, he walked early, and he gets bigger and smarter everyday... I didn't have time to sit and enjoy his baby stage because he barely even had one... I'm so happy that he is healthy, happy and strong.. but I wish he wasn't in such a hurry to be a big boy... TEAR....

My Baby is 3....

As much as I've begged him to stay little, Ryker just keeps getting bigger! He turned 3 on October 2nd. It's taken me a while to update the blog but I've been real busy with school and everything... Sorry... Anyway Ryker is such an amazing child. He is truly first best thing that ever happened to me. I don't know what I would do without his love and happiness. He makes everyday worth waking up. We love him so much. We are so blessed.

What's going on in AZ.....

Wow... We are so busy.. Football, work, Ryker and Madax swimming... Hard life right? How is the snow back in UT by the way!!! Anyway here we are... All of us! This is what we've been doing!

Madax enjoys breakfast, lunch, and dinner... And the 8 snacks in between!! He's getting so big! He is 5 months as of April 12th (Easter!) He is THE Happiest baby I've ever seen.. Honestly! He is always laughing, talking, smiling... I've had so many people comment about what a plesent baby he is! You are sure to get a smile out of him even if Ryker has just poked a fork in his eye! (Unfortunatley this actually happened...) He is just happy to be alive and if he can get a meal or two here and there he's all the better! We love him so much!

Ryker Roo... What can we say about our Ryker... Lately has been all about "HIYA!" I often get hit with random items! He's our little ninja! He's getting so smart... He knows 6 colors... Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange , and Purple! And he can count to 3! He's amazing... Couldn't ask for a better 2 year old... I could do without getting hit all the time though! Tannar has taught him that its funny to "Spank Mama" At least he's doing it for fun and not violently.. We're slowly getting to the fact that hitting isn't ok... Even if daddy thinks its funny!

Here are some pictures of Easter... Ryker had so much fun hunting for eggs!

Ok I have a wonderful aunt and uncle that live here in Mesa... I work for my uncle for those of you who are trying to make connections... Anyway we were in UT over Christmas Break which my birthday happened to fall in, so my aunt had the awesome idea to surprise me with a birthday cake and my FAVORITE!!! TWILIGHT!!!! I LOVE EDWARD.. It was the BEST surprise EVER!! Thanks Beavers We love and appreciate you so much!!
